how to interpret differential scanning calorimetry ?
« on: September 15, 2008, 05:10:24 PM »
I am new to DSC and something about it keep me wondering
Below are the 6 isotherms I worked out.I have a few questions on them. First, why are the peaks for melting is upward...melting is endothermic and should be downward. second, how to determine latent heat of fusion and specific heat capacity by these isotherm...finally, what do the onset value and J/g mean?
thx for any help =]
