does an electron have both wave and particle properties? or only wave or only particle?

it has both: consider the interference phenomenon of light when passed through two slits. The light produces constructive and destructive interference, resulting in bright spots and dark spots. Interference is a property of waves.
Now consider the photoelectric effect. At a certain threshold frequency, an electron is emitted from the surface of a metal, and is considered a particle. It depends on the experiment whether or not it behaves like a wave or particle.

I am not exactly good at physics, my teacher mentioned both wave and particle properties of matters cannot co-exist simultaneously, like Kyle1990 had said, it depends on the experiment, so yes it has both wave and particle properties but cannot exhibit at the same time.
No matters what results are waiting for us, it's nothing but the DESTINY!!!!!!!!!!!!
