Im not exactly sure how to draw the mechanism of fragmentation of diphenyl ether. Could anyone help, please? Thank you!

what are the conditions.  ethers don't just fragment.  Is it diphenyl ether (C6H5-O-C6H5), or dibenzyl ether (C6H5-CH2-O-CH2-C6H5)?

It is just C6H5 - O - C6H5.  This is regarding mass spectroscopy. It just says, "Draw a mechanism, including products, for the alpha cleavage fragmentation of the molecular ion of diphenyl ether"

That's much more than you provided before though, so it's helpful.  Actually the wikipedia article does quit a good job of laying out the mechanism (albeit in words).

Read through it, and then come back with some more pointed questions regarding what exactly about the mechanism you don't understand.
