potassium chloride and brine

ok sorry if this is in the wrong place but i am new to this site.

i was wondering if there was a method in which someone would be able to extract potassium chloride from brine (seawater).

Well, lets try to work on the problem one step at a time.  How is potassium chloride different, chemically, from the other components of brine?  For starters, what is in seawater?
