Categorizing Suzuki Coupling
« on: November 02, 2008, 11:24:35 AM »
Just wondering if people have categorized the Suzuki Coupling as a reaction under a broader category. Like nitration would be under electrophilic aromatic substitution, but Suzuki Coupling doesn't seem to fit under the more general types of reactions. So is the Suzuki Coupling reaction its own special category? It's fairly new stuff to me.

In a very general way, I'd say "Palladium Coupling".
