ACS Testing - How does it work?
« on: October 14, 2008, 02:43:48 PM »
I'm transferring out at the end of the year to a 4 year University. One of the universities I'm looking at has O-Chem as upper division courses. I took a year of O-Chem in the community college (which would be lower division). However, it also states that if you take 1 year at a comm. college (which I did), I can also take the ACS O-Chem test and have to get 75% or higher percentile to test out of the upper division courses.

My question is, how tough is the ACS test? How do I go about taking this test? I assume it costs a few bucks. I looked on the website and the study guide is like $21 + $6 S/H. I don't know if its worth it.
I'm experiencing both Alzheimer's and Deja Vu right now, I think I forgot this before.

Nevermind. The Department Chair here said one of the instructors gives the ACS exam every semester as a final. So I am just going to take it.
