Conductivity of KOH
« on: April 27, 2005, 12:59:59 AM »
Hello
I'm currently working on a project requires me to know what the resistances of a KOH solution at varying percentages or concentration in distilled water, The temperature of the solution will also be varied form 50 - 185 degrees F. What I’m seeking is the best ratio for use in an Electrolyzer cell for H2 + O production.

Is there a publication or internet site that has this data ?

Worst case scenario would be to run the tests to determine this, but why reinvent the wheel if this work has been done.

Thank You
Bill

No idea about the internet sources (they probably exist, just some googling is needed) but I will check CRC handbook. Most schools libraries should have it.
ChemBuddy chemical calculators - stoichiometry, pH, concentration, buffer preparation, titrations.info
