Color of roentgenium
« on: January 05, 2009, 10:42:44 PM »
Has anyone figured out what color roentgenium would be? (Note that it is in the same family as copper, silver, & gold.) Is there any way to calculate this?

It most likely has a silver appearance, similar to most metals.  Of course, a large mass of it would be very interesting to observe because of its short half life.  Unfortunately, we can not create a large enough mass for any observation of appearance.
