SO3 + H2O  --------->  H2SO4
 what type of reaction is this  ==  oxidation reaction  or reduction reaction or anything else

addition of O is oxidation
addition of H is reduction
 both O and H are added to SO3
also  loss of electrons is oxidation & gain of electrons is reduction

 S charge in SO3 = 6+
 S charge in H2SO4 = 6+
 so how electrons are gained or losed  in this reaction. Explain in terms of electrons loss or gain
