Adhesive and synthetic fibers
« on: January 24, 2009, 01:57:40 AM »
I need a suggestion on an adhesive that could bond pantyhose (fabric?) to keep a hole from fraying.

Just about any adhesive will do something, but the real dilemma with runs in hosiery has more to do with the physical nature of the loose structure, and less to do with chemistry of the fibers.  The girls in grammar school used nail polish, simply because it was handy.
Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.
