Hey guys.. im studying (or at least trying) redox at the moment from home - then my tutor sent me a bunch of questions and i had no idea where to even start! if anyone could just help me with these two id be so appreciative!

1) Given that the following reaction occurs in acidic solution
-MnO4- + -H2SO3      -->    -SO42- + - Mn2+
the balanced equation shows that for every permanganate ion reacting
the number of water molecules formed is:

and..

2) Under neutral conditions, Fe(s) can be oxidised by Ag+(aq) to give Fe2+(aq)
and Ag (s). The number of moles of Fe(s) which reacts with one mole of
Ag+ is:

If anyone could help out at all id be so appreciative!

As with any problems its best to battle them out on your own.  That way you learn the process.  Here's a great site on redox.  Take a look and see if it helps If you post the answers you have I'd (and im sure others) would be happy to correct any problems you encounter.
