1-pentyne vs. 2-pentyne test

what chemical test would you use to differenciate b/w the two? i am thinking silver-nitrate (AgNO3) but I need to find out, what I will see. any ideas guys?

1-pentyne gives white ppt. with ammoniacal AgNO3,wile 2-pentyne does not.

pretty good. silver mirror test.

or you could try a very strong oxidizing agent...1 pentyne will give CO2 which will give effervescence, and turn lime water milky..
