The first problem is:
Calculate the boiling point and freezing point of a solution prepared by dissolving 4.9 grams of
sucrose (M.W. 342 grams/mole) in 175 grams if water.
Anyway, I know what Tf and Tb are, which come out to 100.04 C and 0.077 C
But the next question asks
"For the same change in the freezing temperature (:delta: Tf), solvent A needs twice as much solute as solvent B. Which solvent has the greatest K
f
value? Explain.

If solvent requires 1 g of sucrose per 100g of solvent to change freezing temp by 1 deg C, what is its Kf?
If other solvent requires 2 g of sucrose per 100g of solvent to change freezing temp by 1 deg C, what is its Kf?
Which has greater Kf?
