Ammonia and water seperation
« on: February 14, 2009, 07:50:02 AM »
Hello, I am doing a club project, and I was wondering how I could separate a solution of household cleaning ammonia and water to get pure water that does not involve heating.

Using pressure is a maybe.

-Thanks

Close.  Try the reverse.  The question is, do you understand why it works.

For some household ammonia you do have to be mindful that a lot of them contain loads of soap as well.

Though for removing the ammonia itself you are on the right track of thinking.
