formula of an insoluble salt

in what condition Cu2+(aq) + 2I-(aq) =CuI2(s)??
and in what condition 2Cu2+(aq) +4I-(aq)=2CuI(s)+I2(s)?

You may have to consult Nernst equation to check at what concentrations iodide is able to reduce copper (taking CuI precipitation into account).

is it Cu2+(aq) + 2I-(aq) =CuI2(s) is not stable so it decompose into
2Cu2+(aq) +4I-(aq)=2CuI(s)+I2(s)?

This reaction proceeds immediately in water solution at room temperature
