SOLUBILITY OF INK - CLEANING PRODUCTS
« on: March 01, 2009, 05:22:38 AM »
I cannot find useful information on the effects of cleaning products on ballpoint pen ink and lead pencil stains  ???  Can someone please help me with this topic?  I also need to design an experiment on testing their solubility...I'll be grateful if I can get advice!

For one thing, your question is a little too broad.  You have to take into account both the various ink formulations, and the characteristics of surface you want to remove the ink from.  It's pretty safe to say, that manufacturer's have been working very hard over the years to make your plan impossible, unless you narrow it down significantly to find some sort of niche application.
Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.
