Help me decipher this please
« on: March 09, 2009, 05:09:34 PM »
Hi everyone,

I went to the online application checker for one of the schools that I applied to today.  Until now, the application status has been "under review by department".  Now, it says "waiting for grad review (or approval- I forgot which)".  This school has never sent me any emails that are not automatically generated form-letters type of thing.  Does my status mean that the dept wants to recommend me but the grad school has to approve it?  Or should I not get my hopes up yet?

Grad divisions usually always have to rubber stamp the department's recommendations. Email the chemistry graduate student coordinator for more information.
Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex
