I don't understand what the difference between a Standard Solution and a Secondary Standard Solution is.

I've been told one's been titrated against and then I've been told they're both the same...
 ???

Dear aillee;

Most people use both terms interchangeable, because almost all standards we use are of second or “higher” order.
