Expired day
« on: March 24, 2009, 03:36:05 AM »
Hello everybody
I want to know the expired day of Iodine of Merck Manufacturer because they don't mention it on the bottle. So I think it has a limit time range to use. I am waiting for the answer of everybody Because I can not guess 2 or 3 years or more without the base.
Thanks and Best Regards!

Why don't you ask Merck, they are much more likely to know the answer then we do.

Iodine is an element. It can't expire, ever. It can, like all chemicals, soak up impurities if the seal is loose, but it's more likely to evaporate. If need be, you can sublime it to further purify it if necessary.
