Equillibrium and rate constant
« on: March 28, 2009, 06:02:59 AM »
. Suppose two different reactions (having different rate constant) are in equilibrium; the proportion of the product and reactant in both of the reactions are same. How can we comment about the rate constants (which one is larger etc)?

Is any other information provided?  I'd want to know how long it took to get to equilibrium or the order of the reactants/reaction, or if any changes can be made and how long it take for it to reach its possibly new equilibrium.
