Organic Chemistry: isomers
« on: April 14, 2009, 10:42:10 AM »
Hi

I don't get this question:

Which one of the following formulae could represent more than one compound?
A C3H8
B CH3CH=CH2
C CH3(CH2)3CH3
D C4H10

I thought it's C, but the correct answer is D. I don't really get why this is the case?

Thanks!‚

2-methylpropane vs butane.  Draw and see.
