F = m*a problem
« on: April 15, 2009, 05:40:14 PM »
"What force is required to get a 3000kg car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5sec?"

Me and my friend keep getting different answers. What is the right answer so I can check out what I am doing wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

List both answers and we will tell you which one is correct.

I got something between 15 and 17 kN.
