Fehling's reaction
« on: April 16, 2009, 03:23:32 PM »
Could someone explain this to me please?

I know that it's used to test for the presence of reducing sugar.

I tried to google it, but couldn't find any answers that made sense to me.

Thanks a lot

Well, you've had some bad luck with Goolge.   Look here at the wikipedia page:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fehling%27s_solution

A decent explanation is there.  And definitely try the first link on the wikipedia page for a reference, and a very nice picture, on that page.  Any particular questions that remain after you've checked those sources, we'll be happy to help with.
Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.
