Equilibrium calculations!
« on: May 13, 2009, 07:28:12 PM »
In a sealed container, nitrogen dioxide is in equilibrium with dinitrogen tetroxide.

2NO2  ::equil:: N2O4    K= 1.15

Find the equilibrium concentration of nitrogen dioxide and dinitrogren tetroxide if the initial concentration of nitrogren dioxide is 0.650 mol/L.

Could someone show me some steps to follow through with to complete this. I'm having trouble locating where I go wrong each time.

Thanks so much
