Hey guys,
I just need a bit of help with this question.
What volume of 0.500 mol/L calcium acetate, Ca(CH3COO)2 (aq), contains 0.300 mol of acetate ions?
I'm not really sure how to start this one out. I wrote out the balanced equation.
Ca(CH3COO2) (aq) -> Ca + 2CH3COO
I know that I have 0.3 mol acetate so 0.15 mol of Ca and Ca(CH3COO2). Not sure what to do next.
