If alcohols have high bioling points, why do they combust before reaching thier boiling points?
how do you find the boiling point since you cant reach the boiling point since it combusts before?

What do you mean by combust, in this instance? Many compounds can combine with oxygen at temperatures below their boiling (or melting point), but this does not necessarily mean that you can not boil (or melt) them at atmospheric pressure. Have you ever cooked with wine, for instance?

Generally combustion of everything is happening all the time and it does not need to be at a specific temperature to happen. However an increase in temperature speeds up the rate at which combustion happens. Combustion is not related to the boiling point of a substance in any way.
