Question: Explain why strawberries "bleed" when you put sugar on them.
I am thinking that it has to do with osmosis and that the sugar forms a solution on the surface of the strawberry, than the inside of the strawberry is less concentrated with this solution so the solution that formed on the surface is absorbed and the strawberry gets expanded pushing some juices out which i think he means by "bleed".
I might be thinking totally wrong so someone please help me...
