Simple stoichiometry\sig fig question

Hey fellas



The significant figures are designed to show accuracy of measurement, am I correct? The original given is accurate to the tenths while the answer is accurate to the thousandth. If you count the sig figs they add up correctly but how can one obtain such an accurate answer if the given is not that accurate?

PS. What's the syntax for fractions in latex?
