This is sad.

ChemicalForums.com was spammed today with links by someone who registered as Henry Burns, using IP 193.130.68.17 - that is in wiley.co.uk reverse domain. That means that serious international publisher, John Wiley & Sons, Inc., to sell scientific books uses same promotional techniques as Viagra and porn scumbags. Shame on you.

That is sad.  Not really too surprising considering what they do to college students to make money.  Is it really necessary for there to be a new edition of a text book out every year?

I'll send him an email today outlining the problem and ask him not to post such links on your forums, or any other for that matter. He is a Wiley employee.

I know it doesn't look very favourable on Wiley as an International Publisher, but I can only apologise for the tactics used.

I must say I am positvely surprised by Wiley's reaction, I thought we will be ignored.
