Hi how do i remove CO2 from air?

I have an answer saying we can pass air through concentrated NAOH followed by concentrated H2SO4.

but how does it work?

Thanks.

What role does carbon dioxide play when it reacts with NaOH ? What is the role of concentrated H2SO4, remember its properties ? What gases exist in air apart from CO2 and H2O
Write the equation and you'll see the answer :)
