Check this link out:  http://www.marcodonders.com/Ammonia/Urea/urea.html

It describes the two stage reaction to produce urea from carbon dioxide and ammonia.

Agriculture urea usually has an anti-caking agent added.  Biuret levels are important for fertilizer.  Biuret is a contaminant in urea fertilizer.

Fertilizer is not the only use for urea.  It is a common material used to make chemical blowing agents, azodicarbonamide is a common blowing agent.
