when hydrogen reacts with oxygen to form water what type of reaction it will be reduction or oxidation. :)

i dont know wether i am posting a right topic at a right place if not please help me where to post it. ???

What happens to the oxidation state of the hydrogen and the oxygen as a result of the reaction?
