zinc ammonium phosphate characteristics
« on: August 09, 2009, 09:06:04 AM »
Hey,
does anyone have a clue what would happen if you heated
zinc ammonium phosphate up to a few hundred centigrades?
Would it be destroyed? And if yes, what would be the result?
Thank you for your help

I don't know for certain, even because I don't know at what temperatures it can be heated, but I'd say that ammonium phosphate will decompose into ammonia and phosphoric acid vapours (the presence of zinc phosphate shouldn't change very much the decomposition temperature).
