« on: August 13, 2009, 07:06:15 PM »
???  i have a colorful old coin collections that i put together and i color my own coins with liver of sulfur but i would like to get green yellow and red, a guy told me i could get those colors if i used ammonia hydrocorid, i cant fined it on the web any where. he told me if i can get it then he would tell me what else i needed to get to put with it so i can get other colors on my silver. i think its some type of gas and the gas will color silver after a few days. put coin in a air tight holder with gas and let sit. here's the colors i get now on my coins.

Only thing that comes to mind (and is named at least partially similar) would be ammonium hydroxide.
