Away from scifinder unfortunately and got on a tangent... we all know how it goes for those of us that enjoy synthesis.  Looking for any literature with synthesis procedure...

Looking to chloromethylate a secondary amine and possibly do two iterations of chloromethylation on a primary amine. 

Also possible 2ndary amine rxn with CH2O, then usual SOCl2 stuff.
However I am worried/dismayed that if attempted on primary amine with 2 equiv that I get funky polycondensation products.

Also slightly worried about toxicity of chloromethyl amines... a little too structurally similar to known carcinogens chloromethyl methyl ether and mustard gas for my tastes.

Any advice?
