w/v
« on: October 05, 2009, 02:47:32 PM »
what does it mean to sterilize with a 2% (w/v) sodium hypochlorite solution?  How do I do the calculation for future reference.  I also have to make a MS media containing 2% (w/v) sucrose, solidified with 0.8% (w/v) agar.  Any assistance with these calculations would be greatly appreciated!
