chem problem please help (gas problem)
« on: October 11, 2009, 12:57:00 AM »
Dinitrogen oxide (N2O) gas was generated from the thermal decomposition of ammonium nitrate and collected over water. The wet gas occupied 126 ml at 21 degrees celsius when the atmospheric pressure was 754 torr. What volume would the same amount of dry nitrogen oxide have occupied if collected at 754 torr and 21 degrees celsius? The vapor pressure of water is 18.65 torr at 21 degree celsius.

im so confused i have no clue what to do...please help

Please read forum rules.

If total pressure is 754 and partial pressure of water is 18.65, what is partial pressure of N2O?
