MINERAL ANALYSIS fluoride
« on: October 24, 2009, 06:15:10 AM »
Hello, I am working in a company producing enamel. I'm doing a raw material analysis. We were unable to find results for accurate analysis of a fluoride. We are doing analysis with gravimetric method. As I said before, the correct results can not find. CaCO3 + SiO2 + CaF2 in minerals and there is moisture. But every time I find different rates. As you know, a sensitive analysis method, please help:) and sorry for my bad english :)

I think most fluoride analysis is performed using Ion Specific Electrodes (ISEs).
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
