stoichemistry problem

I'm really not too good with this type of problem whatsover...I'm going crazy trying to figure this stuff out haha... can someone please help me with this problem and explain the steps...it would really help me out so much. I'm starting to understand the other types of problems in stoichemistry more and more I've been studying all day and making progress, but when I have to find out the molar mass of certain elements in problems like this I think I start to get a little overwhelmed and I get stumped because I really don't know where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What mass of AlCl3 is produced when 5.2 mol of aluminum react?

the equation is: 2Al + 3Cl2  :rarrow: 2AlCl3

2 moles...and 132 grams so what would I have to do next...5.2 x 2/132?

No, as one of mole of aluminium gives one mole of aluminium chloride, there is no need to multiply by 2. Also, the molar mass of aluminium chloride is closer to 133.5.
