calculating equilibrium pressure
« on: October 26, 2009, 09:08:55 PM »

The densities of diamond and graphite are 3.52 g/cm³ and 2.25 g/cm³, respectively.  The Gibbs free energy for the formation of diamond from graphite is 2.866 kJ/mol.  Calculate the equilibrium pressure at 25°C.

I am confused as to how to use the information, as I don't see how they relate.  Any help getting started would be much appreciated.
