What is meaning of MDL ( Method Definition Limits)? sometimes, what kind of instrument use this method? And, Does this method have the table of calculating some of metals ?

Here is the EPA definition:  The minimum concentration of a substance that can be measured and reported with 99% confidence that the value is above zero.

I'm sorry Don Shelly, if my language make you confuse... my mother language isn't English.

Recently, I have 50 data's weight of necklace, and I would to make standard weight from that data's, could I use Method Definition Limits? And what is connection between MDL and Process Capability Index?
