I need some help finding a few peer review scientific articles that relate to the papers below. Any search tips,links or suggestions would be helpful


Article #1 - Cohen, P. (14 September 2002 ). The Bodyguard. New Scientist, 175 (2360), 28-33. This article is about RNAi, an ancient immune system hiding in our cells.

Article #2 - Cooper, M. (08 June 2002) Life 2.0. New Scientist, 174 (2346), 30-33. This article presents a proposed evolutionary role for non-coding RNA molecules.

Article #3 - Cohen, P. (26 February 2000). The Force. New Scientist, 165 (2227), 30-35. This article looks at the many important functions of the mitochondria.

Article # 4 - Kline, R.M. (2001). Whose Blood Is It Anyway? Scientific American, 284 (4), 43-49. This article discusses the uses of stem cells collected from placental cord blood in curing disease.

Article #5 - Libby, P. (2002). Atherosclerosis: The New View. Scientific American, 286 (5), 47-55. This article presents an indepth look at the role of inflammation in the formation of plaques in the disease, atherosclerosis.

www.pubmed.gov is a great place to search the peer-reviewed scientific literature.  

For the first topic, the following article references important publications in the discovery of RNAi:  http://nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/medicine/laureates/2006/adv.html
