luminol
« on: December 02, 2009, 12:46:56 PM »
hi,
I have a coupl of questions so i'll introduce you first to what i'm doing....
I'm investigating luminol... so basically i have solution A with luminol and sodium hydroxide and solution B which contains hydrogen peroxide and potassium hexacyanoferrate (II). And I'm going to investigate how different catalysts affect the rate of reaction... so the iron is potassium hexacyanoferrate (II) is a catalyst and apparantly cobalt chloride should work too.... but do you have any idea what other catalysts I could use and that do affect the rate of reaction?

thanks
