I was asked to explain the relationship between the amount of Uric Acid in pupae ( pupa) of bowfly at different age class. Here are the results:

Age 4 days      at 0.22 grams     0.41818182 mg/ml/g

Age 9 days      at 0.23 grams     0.44782608 mg/ml/g

" Explain the relationship between these amounts (uric acid)  and the age of the pupae"

I have done a lot of research ( "obviously not enough as i have yet to find the answers i need" ) to try to find some sort of pattern between age of pupae and their excretion of Uric Acid. However, my research has been fruitless. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks for your time.
