« on: November 25, 2009, 11:45:46 AM »
Hi guys,
I am trying to find the common name of the structure below, but I can't.
I used Chem Draw to get the IUPAC name, but it didn't    h e l p

All I know about the structure is that it is a structure or a drug.

This is the IUPAC
2-((S)-8-(2-(6-(methylamino)pyridin-2-yl)ethoxy)-2-(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-3-oxo-1H-benzo[c]azepin-4-yl)acetic acid

Thanks in advance

Seems to be a SKB drug, a vitronectin antagonist. Note the formula is actually C22H24F3N3O4 (sorted by Hill order, which may help some).

I draw your compound on SciFinder. It gave me two names:
* 1H-2-Benzazepine-4-acetic acid
* 2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-8-[2-[6-(methylamino)-2-pyridinyl]ethoxy]-3-oxo-2-(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)-, (4S)-
