differences between AK2 and AX2 spin system

in 3 spin system, when you look at AX2 it shows a triplet and a doublet but in AK2 that triplet has changed to an unsymmetrical quarted and so does that doublet. why does this changes occur? (ref: basic one and two dimensional NMR spectroscopy, Horst Friebolin, chapter 4 page 120)
