Heat of formation for LiI = -270 kJ/mol

Heat of sublimation for Li = 159.40 kJ/mol

Ionization energy for Li = 520 kJ/mol

Bond dissociation energy for I2 = 149 kJ/mol

Electron affinity for I = - 295 kJ/mol

Heat of sublimation for I2 = 48.30 kJ/mol

Well what have you tried?

Try to balance the synthesis reaction of Li and I, then think through what would have to happen to solid lithium and iodine gas in order for them to combine and form LiI. Once you have that broken into steps, you can use the information provided to find the lattice energy (Hint: Don't just add all of the values together).
