Help Please!! Synthetic Organic Molecules?

Hi I was wondering if any of you guys could help me on my project. I need to do a project on a synthetic organic molecule, so if any of you would know any major ones with lots of info that would be really appreciated! :)

What do you understand by the word organic?

What do you understand by synthetic or synthesis?

I'd also think of what I was interested in. For example, if I were interested in the first organic molecules to have been synthesized, I would do one of the vitamins.

 First vitamin discovered (even not synthesized) was discovered in 1909. The first organic molecule synthesized was urea(Friedrich Wöhler, 1828).
