Respective Concentration

(1/1)

rreece:
I have been working on a list of problems all weeked and this is the last and the only one cant figure out.
The problem is:

What are the respective concentrations ( M ) of Fe^3+ and I- afforded by dissolving 0.200 mol FeI\3 in water and dilluting to 725 mL?

I believe the begining to the answer is 0.276 by converting 725 mL = .725 L then 0.200/.725
I havent been lazy and have looked for examples or close to as possible in my book ( which sux) and the internet.

any help would be great in this problem...THANX

Donaldson Tan:
you failed to consider that Fe3+ will oxidise I- to I2
