Does a cryogenic and tractable variety of epoxy exists ?
« on: February 26, 2010, 10:07:56 AM »
Hello all,

I know that cryogenic epoxy glues or room temperature tractable epoxy (i.e. bulky, solid but bendable) are commercially availiable, but I would be interested in a mix of those. I need a material that is tractable (but not liquid, it has to be put into a peculiar shape), cryogenic (-4 K), electrically isolant but thermally conducting. That made me consider epoxy, but I cannot find all the properties I need in the commercial products.

Does such a material exist, or can be fabricated, or even can be bought ?

Thanks for your help
